Trying to set this up without xampp and everything is going ok up to the point where i setup ocs. I get as far as creating the ocsweb database (using install.php) and then it crashes saying:

 

ERROR: MySql authentication problem. You must add the 'old-passwords' in your mysql configuration file (my.ini). Then restart mysql, and relaunch install.php

 

Ive tried to get the old-passwords option working by adding it in my.ini but as of yet no luck. How do i get this option working? BTW im using MySql 5.0
