Hi all,

Can anyone help ??

Got a server 2012 DC.... I need to change the proxy settings on the Default Domain Policy.

Internet Explorer Maintenance Settings were inherited from a jump from 2003 to 2012.

Now I know we do IE with GPP these days but I can't find where to get rid of the proxy settings (see attached pic)

Any idea's ??

Cheers all.

Open Group Policy Management, open the correct policy then in user policy -> windows settings -> internet explorer maintenance then connections and porxy settings

They won't apply if using IE10 or above I believe so they can just be left there.

Failing that run RSAT on a Win7 machine and edit using Group policy on the client.

Well yeah they won't apply but nooen likes redundant settings, i always clean mine up.

You just need a Windows 7 with RSAT as above or a 2008 server to get rid of the settings.
