Dos_Box Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 With tickets going fast one of the tasks I'm doing today is booking places for us to eat. Now, obviously we are eating at the Phantom Winger after the conf, and I'm going to book the amazing Tinos for the night before (the 28th) as we did last year for us to treat you early arrivals to a hearty meal, but what I need from you all are numbers. As some of you won't be able to make it until after work we usually have the meal on Thursday night a bit later, so if you can post your eta below it would be very helpful. If you could fill out the poll to let me know what nights you will be joining us it would be much appreciated. Remember, we and our sponsor Smoothwall pick up the tab for these Oh, and we shall be doing the draw for travel\accomodation this afternoon so keep an eye out. We'll PM members and post up the results once done.

ticker Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Only Thursday for me, probably straight after the conference.
Domino Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 I assume Tino's menu is fresher than their website? ..seriously, ouch, my eyes.
StevieM Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Just Thursday for me, too. I'll still be recovering from a weekend in the Lake District with our Year 6 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, I'm going to be driving so will have to skip the intoxicating liquor.
Dos_Box Posted May 19, 2014 Author Posted May 19, 2014 I assume Tino's menu is fresher than their website? ..seriously, ouch, my eyes. Tinos is very nice food. What time are you getting here Mike as I'm lookign at booking the table for about 9 - 9:30 to make sure we get as many in as possible.

To see @Domino enjoy dinner ensure that someone orders a Hawaiian pizza and a Mushroom Pizza Only @Ric_ could manage in London to find food that @Domino will not eat
robk Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Should be there both nights, hopefully driving up Wednesday morningish...
Little-Miss Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 ......I should probably think about getting my train tickets.
Dos_Box Posted May 20, 2014 Author Posted May 20, 2014 To see @Domino enjoy dinner ensure that someone orders a Hawaiian pizza and a Mushroom Pizza Only @Ric_ could manage in London to find food that @Domino will not eat I have to agree about the Hawaiian pizza. Fruit of any kind on a pizza is just plain wrong.
GREED Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 What... no board for the weekend too? What kind of host are you?
X-13 Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 I have to agree about the Hawaiian pizza. Fruit of any kind on a pizza is just plain wrong. BLASPHEMY! Hawaiian pizza is the greatest invention mankind has ever come up with. 1

ht6 Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I've voted both, but colleague also coming - he can't vote for some reason so could you stick an extra down for both nights on your final tally. Thanks,
Dos_Box Posted May 28, 2014 Author Posted May 28, 2014 OK, guys. The timings for tonight. I have a table booked at Tino's Preston for 20:45. If you are staying at the hotel we shall be meeting up in the hotel bar (or in the Phantom Winger pub right next door) at 19:00. Form there we shall go to the Dog and Partridge on Friagate Preston to pick up a couple more bods at 20:00. Tino's is just around the corner from there If you need to contact me please use my mobile number 07806 785028. Please be aware I am very busy today though but if you want to post up your eta for those others staying overnight please feel free to do so. See you all later, Chris
ICTDirect_Dave Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I shall be meeting you all at the D&P around eight as it's a lot easier to walk into town from my place than it is to hike up to the Phantom.
ht6 Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 (edited) I'm setting off in about 20 minutes. Should be there for 3:30-4ish. If anybody will be there then let me know and I'll come and introduce myself. EDIT: Otherwise I'm taking a short trip to Blackpool to see if it's changed any (people welcome to come with also, just let me know) Edited May 28, 2014 by ht6
