    • I do it all, and never let contractors near it!

Not being funny, mate, but how on earth do you know that?

 

Well seeing as I am a Network Manager and he is a Network Manager I can pretty much say I would do the same sort of things if not more, seeing as we do not contract anything out at all (due to the fact that I have jake working for me :) ).

At our place, for new builds and anything more than a small job it goes out to tender. For the smaller jobs we use local contractors for copper and fibre, that carry all the necessary certifications.
