A bunch of that stuff was around in base 8.1 if you had been paying attention but 8.11 looks good, if they can sort out manageability of metro apps then it will be way better.

When are they doing this!!!!! I can't wait for that, I actually like it this is what they should have done in the first place with the option to use this or the Metro Interface!

I've just read that windows 8.1 Update 1 has been withdrawn from WSUS because it can stop connecting with WSUS over SSL
