Kyle Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 We have 12 new Toshiba A200 laptops which have just been opened and software added to. The trouble is that if you insert any USB device (printer, USB stick tested so far) the laptops blue screen, crash and then reboot. We have tried this on 3 different ones at the moment and they all do it. Any ideas as i need to let staff have these tomorrow.
Kained Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 get in contact with tosh or go straight to there site you will prob find theres an update for usb drivers
MK-2 Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 must be something to do with your setup (drivers/other software) as im in the process of setting one of these up fresh too, just plugged in a usb stick and its fine. check the machine is completely fully patched right up to its eyeballs from MS update first to eliminate any driver errors like Kained said
Uraken Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 try switching off and then restarting with offending device already inserted this should sort it.
