if anyone would like to try archery and your anywhere near Norton ( on tees) we are running a "have a go" on the 25th May

 

more details here

 

if your not near us have a look here for other places over that weekend as Archery gb are pushing there "Big Weekend" thing

 

and you can find more details on the bbc site just put the weekend of the 24th/25th in and see whats local to you

hmmm might have to look for hampshire as looking to get back in to it (only found my gnas card the other day 10 years out of date-_-)

 

also gives a chance for my dad to have a go again if he can pull the bow sting and keep it in place

I encourage anyone vaguely interested and local to go for it. I love it when I get the chance, don't have my own gear because I just can't spare the time.

 

I'll never forgetting loosing a few hand made arrows from an 80lb long bow :D

learn to tiller longbows

 

and maybe built one of my girls a baby longbow?

Yep thats the place, i think we will be out the back of the cricket school , but will make sure its well signposted.

 

@ geekypete, how local we could do with putting a few posters in the the local schools,

Black prince bowmen? And are they running a have a go if not ask them why? I keep meaning to pop in for a shoot whenever im in bromley as its not that far ?
