Or is this ironic?

Actually is it?

Because if I say it is, I know someone will have to explain irony and why it isn't... You know like the Alanis Morissette song...

Now do I admit that took me a couple of seconds?

I was like, is that ironic that it's goldy and bronzy but made out of iron... ?

Welll, someone had to post it!

(and, yes, that Apple plug in does strike me as ironic - for a MS site, in a MS browser. I wonder what it say's if you click on the "tell me about the risks" button?)

No no, its incongruous not ironic! Irony has to reveal some lesson on human vanity or folly... *argument start*

You mean like "rain on your wedding day"? (lesson on human folly being "don't get married in February")

See, I'd say Irony is a juxtaposition of an expected outcome given a chain of events - like Microsoft using an Apple plugin :p

Nah, irony is more strict than that. The 3 Most Common Uses of Irony - The Oatmeal covers it quite nicely. :D

Well, except for the bit about not debating irony...

Isn't that more like 'Don't get married in Britain' :)

They already stated years back when it was revealed Macs were used for image editing on Windows projects that they use the most suitable tool for the job.

Almost as bad as these people who buy a Mac and then install windows on it.

It's okay, I know some one who got so bored and fed-up. He installed Windows on the Mac and Mac on the Windows PC............ his answer "Cos I could".
