VeryPC Posted January 20, 2014 Author Posted January 20, 2014 Aww no beers anymore? Ben I thought I better reset the title of the thread before my first post editing window timed out. Don't wanna bring the company into disrepute for corrupting innocent IT techs with the demon drink. Al
VeryPC Posted January 20, 2014 Author Posted January 20, 2014 the demon drink.Decaffeinated coffee? Nope. Enchanted blood-lava (or some such diabolical brew). Al
VeryPC Posted January 20, 2014 Author Posted January 20, 2014 Hi folks - I forgot to mention in my OP that if we do meet up at BETT, we are not intending to give you the sales pitch. We really just want to have a bit of company and get to know you a bit. Of course, if you are interested in our products we'll be happy to talk turkey, but it's by no means a pre-requisite for meeting. We may even have a few sweeties on us for freebies (bear in mind we can only carry so many of these, so give us a buzz early if you want some before we run out). Al
Homeland Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I will be there on Friday especially if the kettles on :-)
Little-Miss Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 happy to talk turkey To what?! Hahaha never heard that one before!
X-13 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 @VeryPC hows the schedule looking? I'm aiming to see everyone from VeryPC at BETT.

penfold_99 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 I'll be the 31 year old that looks 12... My sister in law is the same 32 but looks 18, it does have it benefits, when she went back to university it took the other students ages to work out her age. They also couldn't work out how she was able to drink them under the table before 9pm. 1

VeryPC Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 Sorry doesn't count, non official terminology used As it still free to call, i will! Shotgun!! Well if we're going all offcial with this, I think you mean "Bagsy" don't you? Al
penfold_99 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Well if we're going all offcial with this, I think you mean "Bagsy" don't you? Al Lol, bagsy its mine then
X-13 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Lol, bagsy its mine then Rule 3 of VeryPC competitions states that "X-13 shall claim ALL the PRIZES!"
penfold_99 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Rule 3 of VeryPC competitions states that "X-13 shall claim ALL the PRIZES!" lol, haven't you just broken the first two rules of "VeryPC's special dispensation to X-13 club"?
X-13 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 lol, haven't you just broken the first two rules of "VeryPC's special dispensation to X-13 club"? Nope. Rule 1 is "Be X-13" Rule 2 is "Be awesome" You're thinking of a different rule which, strangely, only applies to itself.
Domino Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Nope. Rule 1 is "Be X-13" Rule 2 is "Be awesome" You're thinking of a different rule which, strangely, only applies to itself. Awwww, you were so close too..
VeryPC Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 Rule 3 of VeryPC competitions states that "X-13 shall claim ALL the PRIZES!" This stands up. @X-13 has claimed all the prizes in every VeryPC competition so far I think. Won a couple of 'em too... Al 1
X-13 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) Awwww, you were so close too.. I know... I can't be X-13 all the time. It's not appropriate at work, apparently. This stands up. @X-13 has claimed all the prizes in every VeryPC competition so far I think. Won a couple of 'em too... Al IIRC, I've claimed EVERY star prize. Edited January 21, 2014 by X-13

TheScarfedOne Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Last year was a logistical and technical disaster all round for me personally - It began with a forgotten belt and escalated to a lost PC via mobile phone death I'm afraid. Sorry I missed you, but we are widely available this time and ready to take your call! Al Ah yes...I remember the saga of the missing PC!!
rad Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 This stands up. @X-13 has claimed all the prizes in every VeryPC competition so far I think. Won a couple of 'em too... Al It's a fix then....
VeryPC Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 Morning folks. I'm very comfortably ensconced in my reserved seat on the train to London, bag full of T-shirts, power outlet, Doves through the headphones, doing emails and powering through the Nottinghamshire countryside. Estimate arrival at BETT around 12.30 - 1pm-ish. See you soon! Al.
