Hi everyone.

 

Whilst VeryPC are not exhibiting at BETT 2014, several of us will be visiting, and we would love to meet up with anyone who is around. Whether you are one of our customers, someone we have quoted, an entrant into one of our EduGeek competitions, interested in our products or just looking for a bit of friendly company in the big crowded hall at Excel, we'd love to shake your hand, buy you a coffee and have a natter. We'll be your anti-boredom taskforce, there for a nice chat when you decide you're fed up of wandering the corridors.

 

It's always a pleasure to put a face to an EduGeek handle, and as we'll also be tiny little humans lost amongst the crazy behemoth that is the BETT show, we'll appreciate the company too. The great thing for you is that because we're representing the company, we're pretty much obliged to be charming as heck to everyone we see down there, so meeting us ought to be a pleasurable experience (not guaranteed).

If you'd like to arrange something in advance, get in touch with us ASAP to set something up, or speak up in this thread and we can work out a time and place for a mini-gathering that we let everyone know about so it doesn't have to be a one-to-one if that's not your thing.

I'm sure you could loiter around the Edugeek stand for a meeting point perhaps? I know there's never a huge amount of space but at least it will be somewhere people will know?

We have no problems using the stand as a meeting point, so feel free if any of you need to get together or wait for others :)

@VeryPC I tried phoning you last year when you did this... it didn't work out so well.

Last year was a logistical and technical disaster all round for me personally - It began with a forgotten belt and escalated to a lost PC via mobile phone death I'm afraid. Sorry I missed you, but we are widely available this time and ready to take your call!

Are you wanting people to Phone/TXT you and say "meet you by stand XYZ in 5 mins" or arrange times etc in advance?

If you prefer to arrange in advance you can email us to schedule a meeting, but a quick ad-hoc call or text on the day will be fine too. Up to you guys really.

Sorry Al, I re-read your original post and saw that you had already answered my question, so I edited my post to remove my question. But you'd already replied. Duh me...

 

 

PS Is anyone else now imagining Al wandering around BETT shouting "BRING ME THE BOX!!!!!!!!!!!" constantly??

Col and I may have a few leftover Bring Me The Box T-shirts in our satchels...

 

Plus the magnificent VeryPC pen and a third mystery item just arrived which many of you (i.e. all Stockt2bians) will be getting in the post soon anyway...

Now... I like the VeryPC Pen and BMTB T-shirt... but the mystery item could be anything. It could even a VeryPC Pen or BMTB T-shirt!
