Anyone got a copy of windows vista?? been trying to get this from good old MS but no luck.

 

Anywhere i can download - don't mind the large download.

My Vista Beta disc from TechNet is 2.4 GB. I think they are to make the next Beta available for the general public. Can't you get your school to pay out for a Technet+ subscription?

Hi Guys,

 

Thanks for the suggestions. As for the TechNet subcription, anything like this and the management's faces turn right down i've been aksing for a maintainance contract on our core switch for ages but so far no luck. These top level folks haven't got a clue about the potential impact of that core switch.

 

They are brilliant at generating requirements but haven;t got the got a clue how to implement it or how much it may cost.

Since MS are dropping the Beta 2 release of Vista it looks ever more likely that people without a Technet subscription might not see this one for some time yet.

 

I'm talking with my systems manager about a sub this week...

We have one and its very handy for certain things, as well as being able to test lots of software before stumping up the cash for it.
