Volume Activation Tools Error

All,

 

I've installed a new Server 2012 R2 box, which is going to be promoted to a Domain Controller.

I have installed Volume Activation Services, added a KMS key and activated it (via phone)

when I go to configuration, I cannot get any further.

whether I am adding a firewall exception or not and/or adding records to the DNS zone, I press commit and get an error which reads:

 

The following error has occurred. Please resolve the error and try again.

Description:
STATUS_SUCCESS

 

anyone got any ideas / suggestions?

Did you have any luck with this problem, as I have it now too. Ah no worries fixed it realised port needs setting to 1688. Cheers Edited January 17, 2014 by Bezwick

Nope, still get exactly the same issue.

Check your listening port is set to 1688
