Guest Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 (edited) Well there have been a few people posting with their new packaged based school sites, so I thought I would post one of mine. Same edugeek package with some extra tweaks ( lighbox popup images + Simple Image Rotator) and a different template. Just shows that package works well with 3rd party templates too. webman Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Are the headings supposed to "stick out" of the main width of the body area (FF and Opera)? Otherwise, nice site again SYSMAN
Guest Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Cheers for the heads up webman. Hadn't looked in FF.
webman Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 No problemo. Ye olde box model padding+width+spacing issue I suspect then?

bensewell Posted October 5, 2007 Posted October 5, 2007 Well done Sysman! Another one to the hall of fame! You could print those examples of kiddies work and sell em on Ebay for a couple of quid i'm sure some ikea loving people would mistake them for some expensive artwork. Cheers,
jose_dias Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 (edited) really impressed with the site. so did it cost anything to develop? where did you start and how much time and effort does this require? thanks Jose Edited October 20, 2011 by SYSMAN_MK
FN-GM Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Will we be seeing that template on the joomla package in the future?
Guest Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 The only cost to the school was the cost of the domain and the Joomla theme which is a commercial template. As for effort, after installing the Joomla package it was just a matter of transferring information from the school prospectus to the site to getting it up and running. Now staff pass photos and news for me to as and when.
