[ipad] Inappropriate content on Newsstand iOS

I've had users report getting access to inappropriate material using newsstand.

 

None of the conventional age restriction mechanisms seem to work in managing this. Has anyone out there noticed this and found a solution?

 

Swgfl filtering doesn't block the publications which feature rude front covers.

You can change all the age limits if you are using MDM or Apple Configurator. There is also an option for most MDMs to block this stuff (I'm using Profile Manager and it is here:)

 

This works for iBooks, but Newsstand may use the same settings - I would have to check.
