Hi de hi,

Got a Smartboard that despite being able to calibrate OK has issues towards the left side of the board; no touch or anything which seems strange? I can't see any damage to the board and I've cleaned the sensors to no avail. Firmware up to date as well at Notebook.

Any pointers?

We had to swap out a board yesterday that was reporting an error in the Diagnostic Software for resistance on the X and Y axis. Might be worth checking in that for any issues, I was unaware of it until yesterday. Very useful.

Ran diagnostics which didn't show anything wrong when there evidently is; turns out it's actually the whole board. Can get the odd bit working with your hands if you press super hard but obviously that's obviously no use to me at all.

As our boards age they have started to warp and exhibit the same issues. You can try laying it on a flat surface with some weight on it but this only improved it for a short time.

Ultimately we replaced them.

Might be worth taking it down, switch the controller for another controller (if you have a board the same elsewhere) and seeing if that works, just rule that out. Edited by jonnykewell1

We got this sorted; when through with a full calibration and 24 point orient compared to the 12 which normally turns out OK. Done the trick (for now).
