theforce Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me as I'm running out of idea's. my clients are mainly xp on a CC4.3 network. I have Java version 7 update 45, Adobe shockwave 12, and Flash Player 11.8 installed on the computers. I am having trouble with playing youtube video's from these computers, I keep getting the message "An error has occurred, please try later" I have tried different browsers (google, IE, Firefox) to no avail. I've tried uninstalling/re-installing Java and flash. deleted history, cache, temporary internet files ensured Java is enabeled in the 'manage addons' of IE firewall is disabled, and popup blocker unchecked none of these seem to make a difference. Help.
Paul_Fielder Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Hi its to do with filtering, try adding Googlevideo.com into your allowed lists. Worked for us. 1
6Foot2 Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 There is another thread on a similar topic that you might find helpful if the answer posted above does not do the trick: Link: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/internet-related-filtering-firewall/126478-youtube-videos-suddenly-not-playing-some-computers.html 1
tech_guy Posted November 6, 2013 Posted November 6, 2013 Yes, we've had this and it's the sound / volume issue. PITA.
