We used this company before, they went straight to our Head and SLT Team and before we knew it they were in and installing screens all over the site.

The problem is the equipment is poor quality, the software is worse (individual setup and web interface per screen, no centrally managed system), the contract tied us in for 3 years and had to give 6 months notice to cancel and on top of all that it costs a huge amount annually. This was about 2 years ago granted

You would do better in my opinion installing something like XIBO with some good quality screens.

As Plexer said RUN!!!!!!!!!!!

sent a very polite email to the guy to cancel the meeting until further notice

Don't bother, they have outsourced their support and tech guys and there callout times and reliability is shocking to say the least.

We'll be replacing their boxes (our screens) with a standard Digital Signage box.

Same, went to the head, promised him things that they couldn't deliver, their software didn't even support proxies, guessed their vnc password on my first try.

Ditto at my old school. But the equipment was OK and worked without a problem. We just over-rode their videos and presentations with our own.
