I want the remake of Alpha Sapphire for one reason, to get me a un uber-bulky thunder wielding drizzle initiating Kyogre with gr8 IVs for a trick-room team. Am I the only one who enjoyed playing Sapphire then? I loved the new mechanics in it, introduction of 'abilities' and 'natures', IVs and EV training and ribbons where great - well I thought so anyway. I'm definitely ready for this trip down memory lane tbh (just me then?).

No I did enjoy it, I still to this day won't be happen unless all of my team has different Natures, It had one of the best water starters in Mudkip. The hidden bases were fun, the first double battle Gym, a father and My favorite Pokemon Gardevoir.

 

So yeah loved the game just wish it had less surfing to get around.

They would have been awesome if they didn't rely on link cables.

Basically speedboost chicken with mega item, mega charmander X, celebii and possibly version exclusive 1 of a kind mega stones.

Sure. Going to sell my copy of Y as it was just way too easy and doesn't feel like it has replay value, but I still have it, so I'll hold onto 'em if you want.

It's cool either way. I'm near the legend in X.

 

I was going to catch it then restart.

 

If you have any of the legendary birds, I could use them. You only get 1 out of the 3 and it depends on your starter.

If I haven't restarted, I have the one that's on the cover.

To be honest, once I completed the 'main story' I was left rather disappointed and didn't really play much else.

I managed to breed a Charmander with 4 perfect stats, though. Was going to try and breed a Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Pikachu, and 2 others (likely something like Sandshrew and Abra?) with all 6 stats and enter a little league for kicks, but effort.

That's what ruined pokémon for me...

 

Which the meta stuff they're adding into the main game, like super training, it'd be better if they removed IVs.

 

They're just an artificial barrier to online battles and a timesink now.

 

Bad IVs also screw you over in the battle factory/tower/subway/whatever.

I completely agree - So I went with a 'if you can't beat them, join them.' approach.

But I soon settled on 'if you can't be bothered to join them, ragequit and grumble'

I just got past Xerneas last night... then realised I shouldn't have used my Master Ball.

 

I may try to grab the X exclusive mega stones for trades, I want them ALL!!!

 

I think I only want to keep about 6 'mons. All bar Celebii are being rebred anyway. I may not even bother trying to keep speed boost on Torchic...

Spent 15 minutes looking through katakana... メタモン2 means Metamon 2.

TBF, the list is longer that it actually is.

 

It lists each evolution, I jusy need one from the line so I can breed it.

I hope that this renewed interest will draw more people back to the main series - which was always better than any spin-offs including PKMN GO.
