Can anyone reccomend good laptops for teachers.

 

The school have been getting Toshiba ones from tesco's and the like but they just seam to break/ slowdown /die after a year or 2

The new Fujitsus are very robust - I have three and I am very impressed so far

Or how about one of ICT direct's nice Lenovo i5's

Built like a brick - last for ever and at that price you could afford extra warranty to take you up to three years

I havmt been impressed with recent tosh's the c660 had issues out the box and now seem to be dropping like flies the c850 just dosent seem great either. Atm im leaning towards Lenovo/asus

Yeah the tosh, the head got 2 for his kids and askied if i would set them up with a few programs on. Even from the outset one seamed a lot faster than the others.

 

Im thinking either the thinbook or the lanovo which we nearly went for last time.

means you can bitlocker encrypt them easier without the need of a flash drive
