chazzy2501 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 The head of the MFL department had her hubby order some equipment from Amazon to have TNTSAT installed in her classroom. I had someone install it and now it has issues (and is now my problem). The main issue is that it has no EPG? Any Ideas? Its got loads of channels with a great picture but no guide it will only show you what is now and next but nothing else so you can't record in advance.. All help desks and forums are in French so this is a pig to figure out. It does have an Ethernet port but I think this is for youtube.

This is why we don't let random people order stuff and don't support it if they do. Still that doesn't help you... What outcome are they expecting? If it doesn't have an EPG as you say then what are you supposed to do? It can record in advance by setting times rather than programs, in combination with a copy of the radio times?

Also I know there are massive differences between firmware releases, it might be worth trying to see if there is a FW release newer than the one you have. AngryTechnician Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 According to Humax HD 5050 TNTSAT - Non-platform specific satellite TV - Digital Spy Forums, TNTSAT does not provide an over-the-air EPG. However, that ethernet port might download from an Internet EPG service so I would try connecting it up if you can. 1
