Is there a way of stopping the message from appearing in active primary 2, our teachers use active inspire and active primary 2 (for its resources)

when using active inspire everything is fine, in AP2 it says hardware not detected even though the board works fine.

Is there a fix or a registry hack to get rid of the error message ???

Hi Mark, I am not aware of any way to get rid of the message. The driver has been changed significantly and AP2 is not able to tell that hardware is connected with the newer driver.

You should be able to import the resources from AP2 into Inspire, which may help you transition into Inspire fully.

Its edfo a driver issue because if I roll the driver back to version 4 the message goes away, but that driver is not happy with windows 8 so cant stay on the laptop.

We use ActivInspire now and I have imported all the ActivPrimary resources into it with no problems at all. That's probably the best way around the issue
