£38,230 - £41,753 + Local Government Pension Scheme

 

Oasis is currently seeking to recruit a Change & Problem Management Network Engineer to fill a newly created, full-time position within the ICT Team conveniently based in Waterloo, Central London.

 

This person will work as part of a well-developed and growing national ICT team providing ICT support across the UK to Oasis Community Learning's portfolio of Academies, tenants and customers. Working closely with the Change and Problem Management Team, this role is responsible for managing and developing the group’s core ICT network services through the delivery of internal projects, technical management of LAN/WAN, wireless, and telephony services.

 

To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience as a senior ICT technician, or network technology specialist with a good understanding, knowledge and experience of:

 

• all LAN/WAN, wireless and telephony services
  
• installing fire walls and configuring DMZs
  

· working with Systems engineers to ensure necessary network requirements are researched and implemented for Systems installations

· supporting and training other technical staff in performing their day to day duties

 

The successful candidate will need to be degree educated with CCNP qualifications as a minimum. You will also need to demonstrate a proven track record of problem solving, project management and a strong technical background in Cisco network technologies.
