Where to get a netbook

Last year we bought a few Acer Aspire netbooks for our SEN depts and looking to expand the fleet but having difficulty finding places that stock them.

 

Initially only need 1 or 2..

The netbook market was killed off last year, all the major players pulled their products.

Acer Aspire One D270, not to bothered sticking with Acer.

We've just bought some Acer Aspire V5-121's at just shy of £200 each (ex VAT) - they're 11.6" instead of 10.1" but it's all but impossible to get a 10.1" netbook these days. They're AMD C70 with 2GB RAM so they're still definitely netbook specced.

Lenovo used to make some baby laptops which fitted that gap but they were twice the price of what we used to pay for Netbooks.

Lenovo x131e, 13 inch screens £315 asking price though roughly.

 

You may still be able to find some Zoostorms or ASUS cost roughly around £200.

We've got a load of sub £200 X series refurbs. X61s mainly.

 

Also some £250+ X201s
