[sims] Sims timetable not showing for new user

Hello can anyone help, we have a situation where we have exported the timetable from novat to sims.net and yet they are only seen when we click on the staff timetable within manage classroom staff and yet they do not appear when we search for a member of staff via the toolbar and then click on manage timetable am I going mad? have I missed something during the import process?

this happened to me where the personnel officer never set the role of the person. So role would be teacher from whatever date you wanted it to be.

I take it the staff code on SIMS matches the code set on NovaT?

 

If its a code you have used previously with another member of staff who has now left the school have they been made a leaver on SIMS?

sounds like a code issue. when you find staff from search on toolbar, go to employment section and check the teacher code / initials. If set from Manage Classroom Staff for that person it will be greyed out, and should match the one you see in MCS. If not, the wrong person was added to MCS, or was created as new rather than selecting a member of staff from personnel.
