A BRILLIANT World War II immense fighter game. It's online, and there's no campaign, just planes causing other planes havoc in huge dogfights.

 

It can be first person, third person, or cockpit view.

5 Nations to pick from. Americans. Germans. Russians. Britainans. Japanans....

 

The aiming is VERY realistic, as well as the turning and speed. If you go too fast, your wings can auto rip off. If you turn too fast, your pilot can become unconscious. If you clip someones aircraft even a little, you're dust. Teamwork is the key, and without it, you're sitting ducks.

Russian developers clearly think they're clever making Russia and German planes the most OP in the game. American and Brits and Japs don't have a chance. I know of 18 accounts in the past 2 hours that have been closed. I'm quitting too. Pathetic developers.

Hmm. It looked a bit ... 'arcade' for my tastes. I have to plug Rise of Flight again. Lovely visuals, high fidelity flight models, brutally difficult to 'have a chance', simply because learning how to fly a WWI fighter is not a quick business. The Russian developers there seem to know their stuff.

They released a patch, 1.33. today. Needless to say, their player base will drop from 2-3mil to 1mil in a month.

 

Happened with a game they had going nicely called Star Conflict. One time isn't enough for this company.

I've just started playing Star Conflict, I'm only a few days into it but I find it quite enjoyable so far, what problems are there with it?

Yeah gave up long ago.

 

Got some high ranking planes and then left for a while. Wanted to come back, but they said i need to pay £30 to get my account back (may have been 20 - 30... i can't remember). Gave them the middle finger.
