CC4 RMMC Error when creating a program set - Help

Good Afternoon,

 

We are recently creating new programs ready for september, however for some strange reason when I create a program set in the RMMC, It says could not create the program set numeracy,error 42883, Function GroupResourceManager.ProgramSetSave(Text, integer,text, integer, integer) does not exist.

 

Has anyone else got this error, I think this is something to do with the CC4 database as the program sets are stored in there, we have no RM Support Contract, so my only bet is you guys out there, does anyone else have that function and there database as it must be missing from ours.

Afternoon! - Did this just suddenly happen or did something cause it such as removing the entry within the database?

 

My first port of call would be to restore the backup (if there's a good working version) RM automatically back up the last few days to the following directory: D:\RMNetwork\RMManage\RMDatabases\Backup

 

If they have automatically deleted check this directory within your backups which will enable you to go back further, Let me know how you get on.

thanks for the reply, could you please PM me as I would prefer to talk there, the backup is not restoring however I now have another problem, workstations are now not buildng, can you PM me and we can go from there,

have you tried a reboot of the server?

 

it could be a problem with the Service Host.

I agree with Admiral208 rebooting server one is a good start.

 

I have had similar problems with program sets before has this happened after adding a specific program set shortcut? You could try and work backwards to see if it is effected by a specific shortcut? Try adding the shortcuts directly from the server and see if that works. Obviously depends on how many shortcuts are in the program set. Try running a health check and check the log?
