Just been told that I need to look at getting a Smart LightRaise projector installed into the mobile.

I'm wondering if a plywood wall will be able to support the weight. There again a ceiling mounted projector might be worse. Anyone installed one in a mobile before?

Not the lightraise, but we've had 680i UF55 / UF45 boards in portacabins in the past, some still in place after 4-5 years. It's not ideal, but there is usually a sturdy support post behind the wall that can handle it.

Ceiling mounted projectors are do-able too, we've had a few of those - with no suspended ceiling there'll be trunking all over the place though. If the installation engineers are competent, either can be done.

If you're looking at the LightRaise, check the installation instructions as you need specific clearances (ceiling height, and bezel thickness on the whiteboard).

Hi,

Does it have to be a smart interactive projector? The reason I ask is Hitachi and Epson both do a good interactive projector option which may be a cheaper and better option.

We have installed many interactive projectors and found the Hitachi and Epson models are the more popular due to cost.

Hope that is of some help.
