Impero - password Protection

Does anyone know of a way to password protect individual classrooms within Impero please? It has been suggested by our auditors that due to the nature of the beast that is Impero, we need to have additional security from within preventing anything happening?

We have locked down impero so specific clients which can only see the room that they are in. (ie Teachers PC in Class AB1 can only see the student machines in that room)

The "Entire Network" group is limited purely to the administrator group

Seems like overkill to me - but as has been suggested, you can restrict access from the management module.

The password your referring to is the entire program not per room as such. I don't think you can password just a room.

 

As has been refereed to above you can lock a set machine down to a set group of machines which is how we had it you were in room X you could only see Room X on the teachers machine. If it detected an Admin was logged in it over-rode that and showed us everything.

 

Maybe one for @russdev to add to the feature request list?

I missed this one from last time so thought I would reply. You can set it so that a certain PC has access to certain room via console access rights and they also have to enter a password but it is a single password across the whole Impero system.
