I have a HP DL380 G5 Storage Server which is telling me that the Smart Array P800 Controller has one or more array accelerator batteries that are failed. I need to replace this battery as the the performance of the server has gone right down since the failure. I have tried google but all I can find is the price of the Controller. I just need to replace the battery. Also does anyone know if replacing the battery with a new one will do anything to the config I have on the controller?

john Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 AFAIK I have never had a battery change the config, it just stops some of its advanced features working IE the ones that rely on it having the battery. fiza Posted July 25, 2013 Author Posted July 25, 2013 I have my battery now - The diagnostics tell me it is the card in slot 4. The cards are in a Riser. Does anyone know how I tell which is slot 4 on the riser?
