I need some help.

I have a HP DL380 G5 Storage Server which is telling me that the Smart Array P800 Controller has one or more array accelerator batteries that are failed.

I need to replace this battery as the the performance of the server has gone right down since the failure.

I have tried google but all I can find is the price of the Controller. I just need to replace the battery.

Also does anyone know if replacing the battery with a new one will do anything to the config I have on the controller?

I got mine from the manual I linked to which is the manual for the controller (unless I mis-read your post / the HP site) don't know where @glennda got his from...

I have my battery now - The diagnostics tell me it is the card in slot 4. The cards are in a Riser. Does anyone know how I tell which is slot 4 on the riser?

The lid of the server will do :) or sometimes look at the rear and the slots have numbers on the rear

Thanks @john - Clearly marked 3,4,5 on the back of the riser card!!! Cant see the wood for the trees sometimes!
