Hi,

A student has managed to save a file as a .PRN file. I can't open it using word or PDF.

Is there any way to open it or even print it (dragging and dropping to printer doesn't work)?

Thanks

Hi X-13

Thanks for that unfortunatley now it's saying unable to initialize device.

I think the workaround for that is:

copy [.prn filepath] > [printer path]

I think you also need the /b flag, e.g.

copy /b [.prn filepath] > [printer path]

I knew there was something I forgot...

Hi All,

Thank you for your help but I still can't get it to do anything. Every so frustrated at the moment. As a bit of a novice I have installed Ghostscript but have no idea how to use it and the Guide isn't very helpful so any tips would be great.

Thank you
