New US TV series for the wife

My taste in US TV shows sways more towards the action/adventure style: Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, True Blood, Bordwalk Empire etc, and the wife s not a huge fan of these.

 

She's after a new series to get into. She goes more for the likes of Greys Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty etc. does anyone have any suggestions of a series that's on at the moment, or one that's finished that she may enjoy?

The Vampire Diaries is bit like twilight but as tv show . My girlfriend likes to watch also Once upon a time and Suburgatory but don't know much about them .

You'll need your wits about you with Once Upon a Time! Watch it from the beginning though or you'll be completely lost. I love it. Mr Hubb can't keep up with what's happening in this current (third,I think) series.

The Office (US) is brilliant. Season nine has just finished (the last ever!), but I would recommend starting from season two.

Have you sat through all of The West Wing and ER? Weeds is an easy watch, 25 minute episodes. Little bit more hard core is Breaking Bad.

Bones and Castle are both good easy to watch TV series . The West Wing is my all time fav tv series - still great to watch!

In Plain Sight, Body of Evidence & Major Crimes all have a strong female main characters with a running storyline.

Also a good watch is NCIS:Los Angeles. Decent stories, some funny jokes, and doesn't seem like it is an hour long.

Psych is an amusing series.
