purpleoakley Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 Hi, I am trying to share an Outlook 2010 calendar but I get the error Calendar sharing is not available withe the following entries because of permission settings on your network. I have cleared the address cache and gone directly into the Global address list and choose the user but that still hasn't worked. Any ideas? H
MarkSixsmith Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 (edited) If possible try tools / account settings / select the account on the email tab, click change, click 'more settings', click the advanced tab, untick 'download shared folders' and click OK. If you then try again it should work, or at least it did for me when I had the same problem. - Mark Edited May 3, 2013 by MarkSixsmith
GTX Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 I had this problem. Try adding the person you want to share to from the address book instead of typing the email
purpleoakley Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Hi Neither of those things have worked. I am at a complete loss.
purpleoakley Posted May 8, 2013 Author Posted May 8, 2013 Looks like it's a mailbox error got the boss man sorting it out hopefully. Thanks to everyone who replied.
cpjitservices Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 I have had problems lately sharing calendars, it was working for a good yeah but then stopped, to rectify the problem the users that need sharing I have added into a Security Group and have enabled calendar sharing with all permissions on that group. So if I drop anyone into that group now they can see/share calendars. Users open Calendars from Address book and it works fine. No idea why it stopped working in the first place.
