Soliciting ideas for tweaking roaming profiles

The old WIKI had nice step by step instructions on the technical end for creation of a generic mandatory profile, but I am curious about what kind of fun and exciting things you do to the profile before it gets touched by group policy.

 

I guess I'm looking for people elaborate on what they do after they've made made the profile, but have not copied it over to the server.

 

(I am rarely correct, but I believe this might be a less discussed segment of the millions of profile posts)

I started tentatively re-introducing a mandatory profile to our network.

The stuff I made sure I had (by adding into the registry), the:

 

1) removing the shutdown, and changing it to the "what do you want to do now ?";

2) changing the default screen resolution to be a standard 1024x768;

3) I removed the user name stuff, as otherwise they were all going to have my name;

 

In the end I took it off... can't remember why...
