As the title says I'm after a Low profile Quad head PCI-e graphics card ?

Any ideas i need 4 screens, if not i'll put in another pc.

Ebay around for matrox cards. Plenty of that calibre available but they're not cheap.

Otherwise look at low profile ATI Radeon's capable of eyefinity but I'm not sure if they max out at 3 or 4 screens.

Depending upon how you define cheap, you could get either an AMD FirePro 2460 for £163.48 or a couple of Radeon HD 5450's for £17.54 each (assuming you have a two spare PCIe slots?). With the low profile bracket attached, the latter would give you 1 x HDMI and 1 x DL-DVI port per card.

If this if for a big multimoniter system or somethign like MPS I would do as above with several of the cheap 5450s and using a z series chipset which also has two video outputs, you can easily get a stack of moniters off one PC cheaply.

With the 2460 I don't think you can run 4 dvi monitors using passive adaptors you need active ones for that.

If your monitors are DVI I would either get 1 card with 4 dvi outputs or 2 dual dvi cards if you can fit them, the conversion from displayport to dvi has been a pain for us on our multipoint setup.

@nephilim do you still have the card by chance and if so would you be looking to sell? :)
