MDM Free?

I've just been looking at Merakis MDM offering and it is (alledgedly) free, even for networks not using their APs or switches. Does anyone have any experience of this system?

If you do a quick search you'll find quite a lot of recent stuff on here about MDM including Meraki's offering, which we use and is very good.

If you have any questions about how it works etc let me know and as you say yes it is 100% free although when you sign up expect a sales call but you are not tied into anything.

It works well to a degree, not perfect but they appear to be building on it and adding new features all of the time. Certainly can't grumble for what effectively makes our lives easier for no cost.

We're using it for an iPad pilot here in the school. Works great and yes it's free!

 

Compared to other MDM's I couldn't find anything Merakie wasn't offering!

with the firewalls I have some in middle east and can manage it just as easy as i would one sitting next to me!
