Another Google Sketchup query

Hi

I noticed a few posts regarding Google Sketchup (freeware version) on the forum where posters mention that they are running it successfully from a network share....can anyone report any ongoing issues running sketchup from the share...or is it better to make an MSI to roll out through AD??? Obviously I want to do as little work as possible 8)

is fine for me from a share, not had anymore than 5 users on it at once though, so cant promise that.

Thanks...will try it on Monday and see if it falls over I should have around 30 users on it at a time so will be a good test.

It's been fine for me - run from a share with a lot of users - well, at least 50. I did have problems when space n the share ran low is all.

interesting.. do you just "install" it on a server and share it out? Do users just need read only?

Scrap that this has been running sweet for a few months now, at least 30-40 using it at once too.
