SchoolIP and other Performance Management software (Not MIS)

My governor school is about to trial SchoolIP and I wondered if anyone had any experience of this system, either from a technical standpoint or from an end-user point of view. Costing, support, anything.

 

And does anyone know of or have experience of any other Performance Management systems? I would be grateful for any information- I queried the fact that the school were only looking at one system and they landed me with looking at other systems!

Anyone else? Even just knowing which system your school uses, even if you know nothing about it, would help

 

(I landed myself in this by commenting that it isn't good practice to just look at one provider...must learn to shut up )

I know of two school's who use Performance Management, CPD, Lesson Observation and School Improvement for schools and the education sector.

 

Staff hate it, but I think that is more to do with the fact that they need to document things, rather than hating the website itself.

We use Bluesky - http://www.blueskyeducation.co.uk at my school. It does all the stuff you mention but I can't really comment on how good it is as it has been used almost exclusively by teaching staff. Until now that is, as all associate staff will be using it soon :-/

We are also using bluesky education. Being used by teaching staff at the moment for record PM, CPD, and lesson observations. I was originally involved with the implementation of it alongside the asst head, and doing training sessions to teachers about 2 years ago. However, I am not involved with it anymore as I'm too busy doing my netman job.
