Active x Microsoft UAG not working during Appv sequence

i can install this nativly

start sequencer run install again it stops at the bit were the active x pop usually happens

if i close the sequencer it pops up

any ideas how to sort this one out

I'd blame NYCC personally after weeks of messing I've finally got it to work, oh an had to take the latest MSTSC off all my machines thus making more work as they haven't patched there systems up to the latest standards yet.....

 

More serious point is it possible to App-V an Active-X control as surely that does need to be on the machine to work?

There is a group policy somewhere under internet explorer that lets you specify plugins that can be installed without needing admin credentials, perhaps applying that may help.

Personaly I've never put any IE plugins through App-V because they are a total pain - ultimately most of them go through GPO pretty easily with small install files (Flash/Silverlight/etc).

 

So the fix here might be to just deploy the UAG plugin via MSI
