Refurbished Machines

Hi,

 

Can anyone recommend some suppliers of refurbished machines please? I have had a look at ICT Direct just want to see what else is out there.

We've got some of the HP dc7600s from Dan at WStore. Really pleased with them.

I have only used ICT Direct and found them to be really good, we have had to get a hard drive replaced on 1 HP DC7900 out of 30 and they sent out a new one next day. Very happy with the service they provide.

Tier1Online - a very wide range of equipment at reasonable prices

Cambridge Used Computer Shop <- REALLY CHEAP!! - got a HP CP3525n off them last week for £50 including postage and a HP DC5700 for £99.

Hawk IT Systems Limited - had some Dell 745s for £58 from them

 

Misco also do refurbs but at the upper end of the price scale. ICT-Direct may be the priciest but given they offer a very reasonable warranty this I think works in their favour.

I usually get all mine from ICT Direct, got one from Misco the other week for something and though lets give it a go and the refub quality was poor, it was dirty inside, hadn't been well cleaned at all and just not the same quality as what I get from ICT Direct. They also don't have 2 year warranty on them.

 

Moral of the story is that ICT Direct go the extra mile and its well worth it

I've always had a lot of luck with EuroPC. Ignore the stock lists on the website, give them a call and see what they've got.

For laptops, I always got to MCS Technology Ltd - some proper bargains on there... with full warranty.
