Exclamation Impero Logs off user If IE8 is allocated to CC3 Machine - Help

We have a problem on our CC3 Workstations whereby we want to upgrade our IE6 ( yes IE6 ) however we have created and allocated IE8 as per the instructions from RM, this side worked fine, and IE8 installed perfectly from what we could see.

We use Impero 2.3.0, we can logon to the CC3 machine fine, as soon as we load up IE8 a small window appears as below:

If anyone has any ideas about this, please do reply, suggestions are welcome

    Hello

I think if you update your Impero 2 version to 2.3.6 then should remove that issue. If need help in doing that or does not resolve your issue either give me a PM or contact the main support (can ask for me if want).

    Regards

    Russell

Hi Thanks for the very quick reply, Our server runs on 2.3.6 but our workstations are still running, 2.3.0, how do i push out a new install, or do i use the Deploy tool on our server to push out the new version.

I've only been here about 8 months. but this is an issue i've been trying to sort for a while now.

    Hi

Yes you can use auto update tool on the Impero 2 server if that fails (often due to windows firewall being enabled and not being able to access c$ share). Then you can use the deploy tool. Also be aware that Impero 2 does not support windows 7 (would need Impero 3 for windows 7 support).

If still got an issue we can remote in and take a look at it.

Hi Russel. i've had a look on our server and all we can find is version 2.3.0 of the workstation installer, even though the autoupdater on our main server says 2.3.6,
We are thinking about going to version 3 but until then we would like a "cheaper" solution.

Can i ask who you work for ?
