I am looking for a WEEE collection company that operates in Somerset, that offers wheelie bins to store things in. I have tried one national company, and they have let me down with failing to collect since my request on Sept 1st. So, I'm looking for an alternative. Anyone got a reliable WEEE collection company that operates in Somerset, preferably free, and provides bins?

Well, after 18 months of testing, waiting, being passed between Somerset County Council, SWGfL, Cable and Wireless and Southwest One, testing and more waiting, video conferencing now works at our school! Our federation partners are over the moon that they can now go ahead with the plans that they made for last school year. I even got a round of applause!! Only one issue - we are restricted to using 384kbps quality, as SCC are worried higher demand will break the LEA WAN.

Hi guys, I am looking for a bit of local advice, I am coming down to the Wells carnival on Friday and due to work restrictions I am not going to be arriving there until between 6 and 7, I have looked at the council website and most of the car parks appear to be within the boundaries of the carnival route which means a lot of the roads will be closed. Does anyone who lives nearby have any advice on where to park? Obviously with the carnival starting at 7 I will be pushing it so will be aiming for the end of the route if that makes any odds. If it is anything like the Weston one then I am sure on street parking will be a delightful experience :-) Thanks in advance Marc
