Hi all We're currently in the process of doing some testing of Moodle 2.0 RC1 for use on our student VLE (currently using 1.9) and was just wondering if any you have done any testing too and what roadmaps you have for deployment? From a lecturer point of view I think that Moodle 2 would be great as it has API access to Google Docs & Youtube. We've not used it extensively enough to comment from an Admins point of view, and until we can easily import / export courses from 1.9 to 2.0 (a feature roadmapped for 2.1) then we're hesitant about developing on the 2.0 platform. Any thoughts? thanks Paul Kelly Dumfries & Galloway College

i cannot explain this one at all. i have two users both with the same system permissions but when i 'Turn editing on' on one of them i am given the white screen of death while the other one is fine. can anyone explain why this is happening? i am running moodle 2.2.5 and the users are being added in using facility to moodle.

Hi there, I am new to this forum and have recently started working on Moodle (2.2.1) as a part of client project. I have started Module Development. But since I am a newbie I know nothing about it. I am planning to create a module that displays Reports hierarchy wise. i.e. a Manager can view reports of his department, any section within his department, any area within his section and eventually any individual that area. Similarly staff below manager can accordingly view reports down their hierarchy. Now I don't know if such an hierarchy system already exists or not. If not how do I create this hierarchy so that I know every user's permissions is set and after having checked that I can display or let them view appropriate report data. Does capability play any role in this. How do I go about this feature or what would be the first good starting point for this plugin. Please do help since I am stuck with this for quite few days and unable to find any good documentation on online links to solve my problem. Any help is appreciated. Cheers.

Hello, I am having this huge issue with my Moodle 2.0 site and SCORM packages created with Articulate. When I attempt to view the SCORM file, it loads and opens up the Articualte player, but freezes up before the first screen loads. The course player is there with all the sidebar and screens listed, all the tabs are there....you just cant click anything and it won't show my welcome screen. Any help from the masses here? Thx, Dave
