Hi All need to pick your brains. We have the following set up in our classrooms. · HP EliteDesk 800 Mini Desktop (Windows 10 Pro) · Monitor 1 Connects to a monitor screen on teachers desk (VGA connection) · Monitor 2 connects to a Iiyama touch screen monitor (used as interactive board) (connection HDMI 1) Both Screen are normally on duplicate on windows projector mode. When a member of staff switches logins, Monitor 2 flashes from black to image constantly with the monitor trying to work out resolution. Monitor 1 shows image as normal and does not flash. When looking at windows projector mode the setting reverts back to PC screen only, however still shows a duplicated mode (i.e. two screen show an image) The only way to stop this is to turn off the PC. I have update the Intel graphics card and no change. I have three PCs starting to do this fault so not sure why it is growing. I feel this is a Windows / graphic driver issue as this only happens with these computers and nothing else. Was thinking of a possibly gpo or registry that could force the display to be on duplication and not switch back but am unsure how to do this, any ideas? Many Thanks

Hi All, First of many I hope as this is my first thread. With the below links I am looking for some information on anyone who has installed Adobe Creative Cloud Photoshop on any of the CPUs via a laptop and if it was still working efficiently, software is for a secondary school year 10 and 11 so nothing too extreme with usage. https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-10210U-vs-AMD-Athlon-Silver-3050U-Graphics/m819403vsm1113849 https://www.cpu-monkey.com/en/compare_cpu-amd_athlon_silver_3050u-1241-vs-intel_core_i5_10210u-941 Any help would be grateful. Thanks Ridz

I have read that Intel will no longer be manufacturing desktop motherboards but this link may still be of use to some [doesn't seem to have been posted already] Link: Desktop Boards - Find support by board AA number

Link: Intel® Compute Stick Seems like it might be interesting. http://www.geeky-gadgets.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Intel-Compute-Stick-Mini-PC.jpg Anyone got any more information than that given on the linked page above? Has anyone seen it working?

Hello all New to Edu Geek - not a tech or NM but a CoG at a small primary who often gets roped in to technical things! Just had some C touch screens. Most of them run fine off the RM One PC201 teachers desk top machines via VGA. The ones that work have an Nvidia graphics card / display drivers. Where we have an issue is two RM machines running Intel G41 Express. The screen says "no Signal". If I update the driver the screen works but the desktop display doesn't, it goes black after start up, as I think its only DVI compatible. If I effectively uninstall the display drivers and rely on native PCI GDIHOOKS it all seems to work OK on both screens but display options are limited i.e. you can only mirror the display. Whilst were in the process of upgrading our server to 2012 and teacher desktops to W7 which will also look at desktop H/W specs to include HDMI requirements I wondered if any could. suggest any work arounds or; Comment on any issues with running without the display drivers in the short term. Thanks
