  1. EAH4850/HTDI/512M/A - 512MB Asus HD 4850, PCI-E 2.0 (x16), 1986 MHz GDDR3, GPU 625 MHz, 800 Cores, 2 x DL DVI-I/HDTV - Scan.co.uk 4850s are great cards too.
  2. Our NM has migrated all of our servers to 2008 over the summer too, I was given the task of doing the Intranet, Helpdesk and Room Booking. Hence how I knew (after alot of attempts!) to install it no problem. First Attempt - got it all working, then PHP / Helpdesk Broke Second Attempt - Everything was working fantastic, NM accidently deleted the VM Third Attempt - Physical Machine, took me a night to get most of it working. Still finding little links here and there that point to the old web server.
  3. Don't you just love 2008 haha. I better install a 2008 VM to play about with again - we've both gained something out of this!
  4. Tell me about it... it was a pain in the backside to install for me too. I'll explain pretty much what you need to do - but I can't provide screenshots as I don't have a 2008 VM I don't think. Booking System Web Site. Step 1 - 4 is the same as 2003 etc. Step 5: Right Click on the Folder (Active or whatever it's called) > Create Application Step 6: In the main IIS window http://www.fdesignfr.com/test/AspNetForum/Images/IIS-7_Manager.jpg Choose either application settings under the ASP Group (first row far right hand side) or ASP under the IIS Group (third row first one) Ensure Parent Paths is set to True Step 7: If you require Authentication its under IIS > Authentication. Can't remember the settings that we used for domain logins - I think it was Digest though, make sure all the other authentication methods are unticked. Any problems - give me a PM and we can converse to get it working for you.
  5. Yeah, I managed to get it working. What stage are you stuck at?
  6. Might sound completely stupid but - have you checked the computer name and that it's 100% in the right OU?
  7. Still struggling guys, hopefully want to get this finished by today if at all possible. Thanks.
  8. ... because his name isn't Phillip Schoefield. (For further information, Phillip Schoefield + Bo Selecta).
  9. Little nit picky - but on the first page you refer to it as "The wizard" and "The Wizard" - one with and one without a capital W. Apostrify on page 3 "Email Room Admin's on Booking" not needed. Page 5 - says Advanced Questions - not following the previous format. Missing full stop on the final process.php page.
  10. Scratch that, it works. Any way around calling the header twice? Sorry for being a pain
  11. Rename to index.php - not that you need telling index.txt
  12. I'm using a PHP Script called AutoIndex version 2 and having a few issues with the problems mentioned below. PHP 5.1 and IIS7 by the way. Getting these errors when trying to access the auto index page. Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at C:\inetpub\wwwroot\docs.php:19) in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\autoindex\index.php on line 61 Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at C:\inetpub\wwwroot\docs.php:19) in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\autoindex\index.php on line 61 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at C:\inetpub\wwwroot\docs.php:19) in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\autoindex\index.php on line 618 Redirection header could not be sent. Continue here: ./autoindex/Changes%20to%20PARS.pdf The errors themselves can all be removed as I can just delete the command that is calling for the actions on the mentioned lines - however it doesn't automatically redirect to the correct file and thus the end user has to make an unneccessary click to download the file. Any help would be appreciated, and also if you need any more information just post back and i'll try to reply asap.

  14. LG Flatron M2794D 27" I got mine for a sniff under £300. Great monitor.
  15. That is genius - thanks for entertaining me by posting the videos up here! Haha
  16. Look forward to getting it
  17. Rofl, that's awesome!
  18. How about Minimise to tray feature? Then it'd save me going back to my desktop to open it instead of just clicking an icon in the system tray. I know this can be saved by just minimising the program but I don't want it in my taskbar. Great work, thanks.

The monitor is attached originally by 4 screws into a X shaped bracket. We have pistons - not sure if you can see it on the picture well on the left hand side. Which gives just enough room for the monitor to fit onto the desk.
  20. How weird... They must be making a roaring trade off them monitors at the moment! (if confused look at first post)

  22. I'd love to see the look on your bursar's face when he sees that invoice!
  23. Here's an interesting question, what was the last electrical item you bought. Mine was my new computer and a 27" LG M2794D Widescreen monitor. What about you?
  24. Pfft, you lot are looking too far into it. They make great coasters!

Here's our solution, not music - but it's a nice solution for creating work areas for the pupils. http://www.nunthorpe.co.uk/bldgdev/Desk.jpg http://www.nunthorpe.co.uk/bldgdev/Desk1.jpg Also, we do have issues regarding the plastic backs of the monitors peeling away from the metal part - ironically the monitors don't break when they do fall. And are looking for a simple solution involving some hard foam and a few bits of wood to solve it.
