Afternoon all, currently planning a full network migration for a school that runs FMS on their DC, which is being replcaed (S2008 w/ failing disks, not a situation anyone wants to be in). They moved from SIMS to Arbor a while back so we don't need to move the SIMS database, just Arbor. Has anyone done this migration as of late? Or would someone be able to point me in the right direction for the steps that I need to take? Never done anything like this before so going in completely blind. Full software spec of the old server is; SQLServer 2014 running on a Server 2008 standard server. We can get away with using SQL Express as there's only the FMS database to move, and there's only one person who accesses it. Cheers Sam

Morning all, One of our members of staff is doing her termly routines which include running off reports to send to the council, and one of them is the student threshold for persistent absence To run you through what parameters she's selecting - she's doing it per year group, selecting Y1-6 with a 10% threshold, and selecting dates for the start to end of last half term. When she runs the report, it comes up as "No data within selected parameters" or something to that affect. Now, apparently even without the data being there, they should still get a report, and even then, there is data as she's showed me there are a few students with persistent absence (as in, over the last year they've not been in once) Could anyone give us a hand with this?
