Hi I have been asked to look into some training for me, I have been said that I have a extreme lack of training in my school life and that they will look at a course for me. As I do not have a technician to line mange I have been asked to look into a course for School Management - Line Manage / Budget Management etc etc - things that a IT Manager would do. I know I can do them given the chance, but if I have a qualification or something similar then it stands me in good stead for a promotion. has anyone got any ideas on such course? I have looked on the Lancashire County Council website but can't see anything. Thanks

Our main issue was the reverse proxy for our internal websites. We have multiple websites running off multiple servers (1 server has multiple websites hosted on it using web headers) and also web publishing such as OWA / ActiveSync / Outlook Anywhere / RD Web. This is what I have struggled finding a replacement for. For 2012 Proxying using IIS Rewrite I need to upgrade my DCs to 2012 R1 and setup a couple of ADFS boxes for SSO.

They dont seem to...browsing to http://www.ipsca.com brings up a Go Daddy parked page, but browsing to Home still brings up a page for them saying that they no longer issue certificates.

They accept official school orders, but when it comes to payment its a card payment or cheque in dollars or Wire Transfer

Hi We are looking to replace our ipsCA Wildcard Certificate with one from a more client supported CA, I have tried the SSL Store (They want either a card payment / Wire Transfer / Cheque in Dollars) and 123 (They want a Card Payment only). We are unable to pay by card, just by cheque. Can anyone recommend a SSL Reseller which can accept Official School Orders and/or Cheques? Many thanks

Try changing them both to 1 day, the clients might be given a different IP Address from the DHCP Scope and its not updating DNS.

Hi We use Xerox Workcentre printers here, they are used with a pull printing system. The printers are installed through a VBS Script either when a user logs in or it is run once if they are logged in locally. Randomly it has started reporting that the same certain Xerox dll is missing, but looking in the spool\drivers folder the file exists. It affects random workstations, the only common thing is it is Windows 7 Enterprise (not 100% sure if it is x64 or x32, I'd say most of them are x64). I thought it was originally laptops running wirelessly, but I have had 2 desktops with this issue. I need to as an admin remove the printer, remove the driver files, remove all xerox entries in registry / xerox print processor; and then reinstall it through the VBS script. Has anyone got any ideas? If I update the driver on the print server, will this have any issues with updating drivers on the workstations? Ie will it do it automatically or do I need to upgrade all workstations as an admin? Many thanks

If you have Layer 2 switches that support VLANs and your server supports VLAN tagging then you could assign the Admin VMs NICs to tag on the Admin network. I have done this with mine

Hi We have been getting the above error message on our Dell R710 Hyper-V Server now for nearly a month. Every time it shows in the log the server freezes at that point. No blue screens or reboots, it literally freezes. Dell have replaced the SAS Raid Controller and the motherboard, but it crashed again this morning. It has crashed 9 times, 8 of them was during the early hours. Has anyone had any experience of Watchdog Timeouts? I am thinking of wiping and installing Server 2012 R2 as I'm hoping it is a Software issue. Thanks

Our accountants have said it is like working with Excel, which we dont fancy. Is MultiView good then? How does it work? Do we host their data or is it duplicated? Or are there any other alternatives that you looked at?

Hi We are looking to become a MAT and the FMS Package that we have will not support the multiple locations that we need directly, I have been advised that we need to buy the Capita MultiView. Has anyone else got this setup running properly? Our accountants have suggested a package called PS Financials as a replacement, does anyone have any experience of this in a MAT Setup? What are their pros / cons and their after care support like? Can you import all your FMS Data and reports? How does the multiple locations work? Do their servers connect to our servers or go via a third party? Thanks
