Not to jinx anything but we haven't had any issues this week, all shared iPads have been logging on fine had no reply from apple or any update about whether they have actually fixed something but all seems good right now how about everyone else?

Fingers crossed we have almost 500 of them so we are properly having a nightmare with it. I would agree it’s almost like sometimes the traffic hits the right server on apples side sometimes it hits one that isn’t working properly. We had recently implemented MFA for students here so assumed that was causing it but after turning it off it’s still happening. Just glad it’s not just us at this point

Exact same issue! So glad to find this post I have been tearing my hair out it seems completely random it doesn’t work give it a few attempts sometimes works sometimes never works switching ssid seems to work initially then it stops working on that ssid I managed to find a support number for apple business and education today and they are collect logs from some iPads just hoping they come back with something because we are out of ideas if I hear anything I will let you know asap!

Not sure what subject to put this under or weather anyone is as daft as us to use Shares iPads, but we have been having issues with people not being able to login error just says “unknown error occurred” wondering if anyone has ran into something similar? We are running out of ideas apart from just blaming Apple

We send out our config file and logo via GPO and when upgrading the settings are lost after the initial install then on the next reboot the config file and the logo are copied back over to the local location and then it works as we want it

We are looking into intune MDM for our iPads but ours are shared ipads and we are having massive issues when testing apps not installing setup taking a lot longer than JAMF just wondered is everyone who vouched for intune using iPads 1 to 1 or as shared iPads? Any tips would be appreciated

Haven't deployed it but have been testing it with an image seems fine being able to uninstall windows apps via GPO is pretty good also

Hi All looking for some guidance and advise with Cyber Essentials moving to trusted devices rather than trusted IPs we are struggling to figure out how we are going to get the iPads to work with it other than forcing the students use there MFA when they sign in we use Jamf at the minute as our MDM but really don't want to change to Intune as I can't imagine its as good and quick as Jamf

We had something which sounds the same when we deployed a C++ distributable via group policy had loads of errors in event viewer

Caching server 100% the way to go was a really simple implementation for us helped a lot with the iPads

Same for us I have put a ticket in to Microsoft

We've two DCs on 2019 and One on 2022 and have noticed over the past couple weeks we've had a few devices do the same thing
