  2. I've used Meraki, Lightspeed and Jamf from those lists, and Jamf is the one I always return to. It's incredibly easy to set up so you can get up and running with 30 devices for probably around £200 if you're happy to do the set up yourself if you're familiar enough with building up the groups, DEP profiles and dynamic groups etc. All doable in an afternoon.
  3. Sorry, I'm terrible at remebering to reply to things, even with push notiifcations. Yes, that's the section on MDT. I see you've got it sorted now already, but this might be another way of doing things. You can just expand that section, find the OS version you want to apply it to, right click, import package, choose the cab file you've downloaded from Microsoft and it'll extract it out and do what it needs to do with it automatically. Basically it'll pull out the MSP and folder it up on the Deployment Share folder.
  4. Could you not just slipstream the most recent cumulative updates by importing the files from Microsoft's Update Catalog website into the applications/patches folder called during the MDT task sequence?
  5. As per the title really, I've inherited this setup on a vanilla Win7 network with roaming user profiles. Some staff users have masses of files on their desktop. Now as I understood, this was pretty bad for logon performance. Is my thinking outdated? I'm a bit baffled as to why I can find notes in the network documentation as to why my previous had things running so they were locked to saving to their mapped network drive, but then scrapped this and enabled saving on the desktop. It's on my hit list of things to 'fix', or is it just not that much of an issue now (also we're on the cusp of a 10gig backbone and staff desktop machines are, for the most part, well specced machines). Is it a case of, in this instance, it ain't great practice but the benefits gained for the work involved won't be worthwhile?
  6. Hi all, Anyone with PowerApps experience that might have seen this issue before? I've got an Excel spreadsheet setup with some defined tables so I can capture data via some forms, pretty standard stuff. However, and this has happened repeatedly now, PowerApps keeps 'corrupting' my tables on Excel for want of a better term. I define a table range as say, A2:F2 and leave a column space at the end for the PowerApps ID column which it injects. Then seemingly at random I'll find the table range has shifted in Excel without warning, so the range might now be A2:E2, and the table headers have been overwritten. Here's a screenshot: See how the last column, ot5, has been removed from the table and a new column added at the beginning with a generic header, Column1? It's. Driving. Me. Insane. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
  7. Thanks guys. I should point out I used the term 'personal account', but I meant their own personal internal email account. So essentially forwarding from a departmental email address to their own user specific account. The Powershell scripts linked look interesting. I'll check them out.
  8. As an update to this, I couldn't get the damn thing removed for the life of me, but I found a workaround which may help someone, or I may still be ridiculed for missing something obvious. I managed to set up a Mail Flow which stated if the recipient was the offending user AND the to field contained the account I wanted to capture, BCC it to a list of users. A bit dirty, but if it works, it works. It'll buy me time anyway until the user is back off annual leave so we can have them remove the forwarder themselves. I may have to look into creating a profile for this account which bans forwards from being set up, I did read an article about it, but it seemed pretty involved for getting it up and running when this worked just as well in a pinch.
  9. Hi all, Question time. I'll try to keep the details succinct. - Mailbox set up with multiple delegate users with permission to Read and Manage the mailbox - One user has logged in via Outlook on the web and set up an inbox rule and/or forwarder to forward all email to their personal account and not retain a copy in the original mailbox - Other users cannot see this forwarder or rule when they switch to the mailbox, so it appears these can be set locally and independently of other users - Checked on the Office365 Admin Panel / Exchange Admin Panel, reports no forwarders etc set up at the highest level and I'm unable to see any rules etc set on the account by users - Removed the user's Read/Manage permission in the hope this would also kill the forwarder / rule they had setup. Note: Due to the way this was set up before my time, this 'shared account' exists as a user, not a Shared Mailbox oddly. My question is thus. Is there a way to remove this forwarder / rule that has been set on the account locally by a user that I'm missing? I'm coming from a Google Apps background so the hot mess that is the Office365 admin panel seems to repeat itself and generally just be very unfriendly to navigate, so I'm hoping there is a way that I've just not seen yet.
