Hi all I am in the process of setting up iPod Touch/iPad devices for staff and students but in a jam as to how to get them setup. Naming to share files, acccess resources on the RM CC3 shares and printers. I have come across Studywiz Mobile, but I havent had any replies from them. So has anyone gone this route before?

Hi Everyone. I am trying to setup a thin client with the edubuntu distro. I have the server up but can't remote in using the KDE remote terminal applet. Can anyone say how its possible to remote from a Windows XP/Windows Server 2003 machine to ubuntu 8.10 for remote management? This has really put a stop to my TC project. Thanks

I would like to put a box together to have a play with a virtual server. I the goal is to use off the self/inexpensive parts to create the server and use two virtual servers - Windows 2003 Servers. One would be a dedicated print server, the other an intranet. Would like to have two or more nics in. Any suggestions for hardware/software config?

Yep its the RM 150 laptop, cant remember the chipset details, but we did download the latest driver for them.

Well mate thats good news for you, but I can't get my 16 RM Intel notebooks to accept student logins without first login with a cached account then logoff so that the studnet can logon. It seems you now something I need to know - care to share?

Hi All I just had an Extricom exsw-1200 switch installed with 8 waps. It worked when the chapie set it up on the day. Now a couple of weeks later its just losing connection. Wired thing is the RM Intel laptops (WinXP Pro RM setup) will detect the wlan but no mappings, IE or local pinging will work. I get hardware error, request timed out. I have 16 RM NBOOK 150 that will not work. My Tos will connect only when I reset the switch. Can't even get the HP nx6110 to connect too. Extricom was so kind to reply, but the new config didn't work either. HELP PLEASE!!!
