I could not agree with this more. They may well become a tax haven like Jersey or Ireland, however, it is up to Scotland as to how it sets itself up. Sadly this is true, however, it is better to be in the black than the red. Scotland will likely start quite heavily in the red however due to the shared debt, assets etc accrued since the union.

You do know that great britain is literally the island we are on. Sulley island, Anglesey or even St Marys Island in London is classified as great britain as there is no land connecting them to the island.

My HTC Desire (from 2010) still goes now, my daughter uses it for games if we are driving. I use my current phone (Sony Xperia Z1 Ultra) for a few things. I watch films in the shower and bath. I film under water with it when I am out fishing or otherwise. I watch a boat load of films on it, so its good to have the screen size.

I'd advise neither. You can get good phones for much cheaper. The S4 and 5s are perfectly adequate. Is there a reason you want the latest ones? What is it that they offer that other phones don't?

That's a good thing in this instance. You are either a YES to independence or NO to independence. There really isn't any middle ground in this instance.

Correct. NHS, Social Benefits (encompassing everything from child benefit to housing and council tax benefit), would all be abolished to an extent for Scotland. They have the infrastructure so they wont have to start from scratch, but the transition will be painful to say the least. NHS, Police, Fire services etc and benefit costs in Scotland, whilst lower per capita than in England or Wales, is still nearly 50 % of Scotlands GDP (If I remember my figures correctly). It was worked out a while ago on reddit that the Average person in Scotland is £22.5k (factored in by wages across the country etc). Average benefits bill per person in scotland is £8.5k, and NHS bill is around £1.9k per person. That said Scotlands NHS is a separate entity, but still gets a large chunk from a central UK budget. By my maths, that is £10.4k per person on benefits and NHS. Factor in police costs, fire service etc which comes out of council tax. I would not like to be in Scotland when that gets pushed through if they want to keep things on the same sort of level.

Independence = independence from all holdings, governments, foreign agreements, military agreements etc, therefore, the rUK would stay within the EU and Scotland would be independent from it.

It would likely have to be renegotiated with Norway, England, (Northern)Ireland and Iceland, as they all have some sort of waterborne boundary on British (Read Scottish) fishing waters.

One thing I think Salmond hasn't realised, if Scotland gain independence, and then Join the EU, they have to commit to the Euro as the currency. As part of membership of all new states, they have to commit to the Euro once they reach a certain point of Economic Stability. NB I could be wrong, but I haven't seen him mention anything about it yet (if I am wrong, I do apologise)

The yes campaign are banking on retaining membership to the EU, despite the fact that the EU council have said Scotland would have to re-apply, and Spain have said they'd veto entry as they do not like breakaway states (exceptions being where countries were released from Russia because of the soviet breakdown). Spain couldn't allow Scotland entry, for the simple fact it would mean they have to have their own referendum on the Aragonese, Basque, Galicia and Catalunya being released (all sets of people have called for separation from Spain). If Scotland were allowed in, it adds legitimacy to their cause and weakens Spain.

I would agree that intel chips are the way to go, however, on a cost/budget, you do get more bang for buck on AMD chips, especially on a budget (I have the 8300 and it works like a charm for my needs).
